The agreements that apply when you use this website or the GoldLift app.
Scope
These terms apply to everyone who visits this website or uses the GoldLift app. By using the service you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter.
- You keep your login details private and do not share your account.
- You are at least 16 years old, or you have permission from a parent or guardian.
- You can delete your account at any time. What happens to your data then is set out in the privacy policy.
Rules of conduct
A few simple rules apply inside the social parts of GoldLift. The following is not allowed:
- hateful, threatening, discriminatory or sexually explicit content;
- spam, advertising or recruiting users for other services;
- impersonating other people or organisations;
- deliberately faking results or leaderboard positions;
- attempts to overload, reverse engineer or otherwise abuse the service.
If these rules are broken, content can be removed and access to the service can be restricted or ended.
Content and intellectual property
The app, this website, the design, the copy and the source code belong to GoldLift and are protected by copyright. Content you post stays yours. You do grant GoldLift the right to display that content inside the service, to the extent needed for the feature to work.
Availability of the service
GoldLift is in development. We aim for a service that works well, but we give no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, flawless operation or the permanent presence of any specific feature. Maintenance, updates and changes can cause temporary interruptions.
Liability
GoldLift does not provide medical advice. Training programmes, nutrition guidance and AI suggestions are general information and are no substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian. You train at your own risk. See also the disclaimer.
To the extent permitted by law, GoldLift is not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, lost profits or loss of data arising from use of the service.
Changes and governing law
These terms can be amended. We will inform users through the app or by email in the case of significant changes. Belgian law applies to these terms, and disputes will be brought before the competent court in Belgium.
